Rosenqvist Wins Closest 500 in History!
The final margin of victory was 0.0233 seconds, surpassing the old mark of 0.043 seconds that had been set in 1992 when Al Unser Jr passed Scott Goodyear. It was great to spend the weekend with everyone. I look forward to seeing you all next year!
Rossi Cleared to Race
He will be on crutches but Rossi has been cleared by IndyCar officials to race in the 500 on Sunday. His backup car is the same chassis he drove in the 500 last year. He lead 14 laps before a fire in the pits ended his day prior to the halfway point.

Hoosier Hundred POSTPONED
Forecasts show no window of opportunity for racing at IRP Friday evening. USAC Silver Crown cars will now run Thursday, June 25th. USF2000 and USF2000 Pro will run their Freedom 75 & Freedom 90 races on Thursday, May 21st.
Rossi Injured in Practice Crash
ECR announced that Rossi underwent successful outpatient procedures to repair minor injuries to his left hand and right ankle. Rossi spun in turn 2 during this morning's practice session. He had qualified 2nd on Sunday.
Defending 500 Winner to Start From Pole
Alex Palou earned his second Indianapolis 500 pole. Alexander Rossi will start second. David Malukas third.
Lundgaard Wins Sonsio GP
Christian Lundgaard took the checkered flag with a 4.6 second gap over David Malukas. Palou and Kirkwood were running 1st and 2nd, but had not yet pitted, when the caution came out on lap 22. Malukas led 27 laps but fell victim to a poor adjustment on the final pitstop. Oval practice for the 500 starts Tuesday!
